  2. When a customer is dissatisfied with the overall experience of purchasing a product or receiving services from an organization, the business is highly likely to suffer a huge amount of loss in the future. It is crucial for service providers or manufacturers to find out the customer experience using various ways, such as feedback through surveys, interviews, observations, etc.

VOC (Voice of the Customer) is an organized practice to figure out the customer needs and integrate it as an integral part of the system. The benefit of incorporating the VOC tool into the existing system is that every customer feels honored and special, which inevitably encourages them to do more business with you.

  5. There is no questioning it; we are living in the age of the customer. Superior Customer Experience Management in 2019 is widely recognized as one of the most important and defining competitive advantages.

With the amplitude of information and options at their fingertips, customers now hold most of the power. This is why the Customer Experience (CX) has become a top attribute on which brands compete, and the need to conduct a Voice of the Customer (VoC) program has never been greater.

  6. Customer loyalty is critical to the survival of any business. If your customers suddenly find good reasons to start visiting your competitors, maybe it was because they weren’t satisfied with your product, or the type of service they received while with you. None of them ever told you about any problems they were having, they just stopped coming.
If that sounds strange, then consider the following statistics –

  7. There is no doubt that creating a competitive advantage in today’s business environment is about much more than having great products and attaching the right price tag. With informed customers expecting much more, CEOs are turning to customer experience (CX) strategies to build the kind of sustainable advantage that leads to business outcomes and long-term success. To establish and maintain CX as a critical business strategy, the direction and discipline naturally starts at the top.

In other words, today’s successful companies need customer-focused CEOs.

  8. Everybody is talking about customer experience (CX), but like many other hot industry terms, it can mean different things to different people. I like the Wikipedia definition: “Customer experience (CX) is the product of an interaction between an organization and a customer over the duration of their relationship. This interaction is made up of three parts: the customer journey, the brand touchpoints the customer interacts with, and the environments the customer experiences during their experience.”

Marketing definitely has a significant role in supporting each of these components. But the old adage that marketing gets the customer and customer service keeps the customer is overstated. A reputation for great service can help the company get customers and marketing has an important role in keeping them.

  9. Customer experience (CX) efforts remain inconsistent in many organizations, but there are signs of greater commitment and execution for 2020, according to Gartner, Inc. 10. A pioneer in world business and CEO of HSN, Mindy Grossman once said “I believe in accessibility. I believe in honesty and a culture that supports that. And you can’t have that if you’re not open to receiving feedback.” Bill Gates, the richest man in the world said, “We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.” Why is it not surprising that successful business leaders and entrepreneurs are always the ones who are wanting to take feedback from their customers?
